London

I really like this activity, because I have always wanted to go to that city because United Kingdom is a great country and Europe in general. Also I always wanted  visit the london eye, the british museum, kew gardens and especially hyde park. So I love plan a week in that city, because now I got to know about the tube, the location of places and know how would money spend. 

There are many places to visit and activities to do in London, wich is very interesting, and entertaining. This made me think I could plan more trips to other countries that would love to meet.

Hi everyone!

This week I'll write about music, I don't have a favourite band or singer, actually I like many types of music, I listen music to music according to my mood. For example I like the rock, indie, pop,ambient, alternative rock, classical, electronic, latin and others, really this change every day. 

The bands or singers I hear most are Phoenix, Mogwai, Arctic monkeys, Beach fossils, Explosions in the sky, Daughter, Of monsters and men, Freelance whales, Radiohead and Soda stereo.

In any case the music is very necessary in my life, every day I listen something, it helps me to distract me, to relax and accompanies what I feel.

Despite not having a favourite band, the song that never bores me is Lasso by Phoenix, they are a french band of alternative rock, consisting of Thomas Mars, Deck d'Arcy, Christian Mazzalai and Laurent Brancowitz. I like this song because it keeps me happy. This song is of the album tittled Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix.  I love this album has songs like Lisztomania, 1901 and Armistice, which I also like very much.

Today I will talk about sign language. Now I'm doing a workshop about this and also I made this workshop a few years ago. It has always interested me how the deaf communicate, how they relate to others In a world in which apparently most people are listening. So learn their language also becomes a form of inclusion.

The main thing in sign language is that this is not universal, it changes in each city, so also in each country. Deaf people have their own grammar, structure and way of thinking, which is very different from that used by listeners, there are no articles and there are some verbs that do not exist. There are words that are represented by more than one signal and there are long ideas that can be represented simply by a sign.

Another important idea is that deaf people are not mute, though they are usually called deaf-mute.

Besides the deaf do not call each other for their names but call each other for their nicknames, which are always related to a particular aspect that identifies them, for example the hair, their glases or a mole.

The body language is critical in sign language because they need to use gestures to understand the intent of the message.

For this and many other things deaf culture is definitely fascinating.

My Pet

Hello everybody

This time I'll talk about my dog, this is called Tomi, it is a Fox Terrier, he has 6 months to live. I got it in February of this year because my uncle gave it to my mom, since he has two dogs who always have puppies. My mom likes animals but really did not want to have a pet at this time as it involves many responsibilities. However long I wanted to have a pet and wanted preferably a dog, because I grew up with cats and although I love them, they always lost away from home.

With my family we had a hard time choosing a name, everyone he could think very ridiculous names. After many days we all agree. So Tomi is a playful puppy, very restless and active, he barks a lot every day and likes to bite everything in, always drags his bed with his mouth to all the places he goes and always sleeps with two stuffed animals. Now your body is full of spots, so it is rather like a small Dalmatian.

At the moment I am not living with him, so my mom worrying about giving food and water every day, to take him out and play with it. Also, my uncle goes every month to inject their vaccine.

A few days ago I went to see a presentation of the BANCH was called "Cuéntame la Danza", in which it is told through dance and dialogue of some dancers the dance history to reach contemporary dance. For many years I like the contemporary dance does, then I enjoyed the journey that makes the presentation to reach that point. However, not all people know this type of dance, so I'll write a little about it.

It is usually danced barefoot and movements are very natural and organic. No need to have a purpose, but that also depends.

For my presentation, I will talk about attachment theory, this was developed by John Bowlby. He took interest in the early experiences of children and the impact that these experiences could cause in developing them.

Attachment is the emotional bond that develops the newborn with their caregivers, usually the mother, and directly influences how it will unfold in the world, in their personality and how it relates to other people. This attachment must provide security to the child, of this way he should feel that this person will be there when you need it, as this allows the child to have the confidence to explore the world.

Later Mary Ainsworth in his work with children in Uganda, is familiar with the work of Bowlby and then through an experiment called the strange situation found three main patterns of attachment: secure attachment, avodaint attachment and ambivalent attachment.

For me it is very important this theme because in the past it was believed that children only had to cover their basic needs and they were incomplete beings that they are prepared to become adults, but with this type of study It has been found that children are active beings, who need constant contact and be heard and that what happens in their first years of life affects the whole development of them. So I think that the importance of care should be given to infants is critical and should not be forgotten.
